This workshop was recorded in Gladstone as Professional Development for School Teachers and is between 90-120 minutes in length. Firstly, Joan spends time identifying the common traits (survival kits) that the difficult person often employs to keep themselves 'safe' from their own hideous emotions. Secondly, she explores our response to their naughtiness and the challenges we face to implement appropriate challenges and reactions to keep ourselves psychologically safe. For this person, their heart was bruised or over-indulged and their basic trust was lost or never got off the ground. They have been trying to live on no other terms but their own.
