Living Wisdom Model
This counseling model provides a scaffold for psychological and emotional healing through a blended approach. Similar to Reality Therapy, the model is underpinned by a focus on healing through truth that explores the divergent intertwine between historic events, mental reasoning and habitual behaviours. The chief researcher, developer and Living Wisdom Dean, David J Riddell, has been counselling for over 35 years and in 2019 has achieved the milestone of reaching 65,000 counselling hours.
Counselling Service
My counselling is mutually vulnerable and respectful. It is a coaching style neither being too 'client centred' or too 'directive'. I am led by you while I am working hard to give you real answers that hit the mark. The word 'Counselling' can be a loaded term for many people. In other words, it can have either a positive connotation or a negative one, depending on your experience.
Supervision Service
Supervision empowers you to carry a sustainable load with enthusiasm through ownership, rather than because of obligation or duty. Regardless of your people-helping ministry or professional role, we discover the areas that need to be looked at, discussed and understood. I myself need to have professional supervision, so I understand the many facets that effective supervision needs.

CALENDAR BOOKINGS AND TIME ZONE
My appointment calendar is set to display in your time zone. When your appointment is booked you'll receive a confirmation email of the appointment date and time for your records. You will be able to choose your preferred phone or video call method.
FEES
$120 per counselling session and $100 for ministry supervision session. You will receive personal notes from each appointment within 24 hours. Payments are accepted by credit card or direct debit. Unfortunately, these services are not eligible for the Medicare rebate and some private health care providers.
CANCELLATIONS
If you would like to cancel your appointment please email me and I will cancel it for you. Alternately, you can email or call to cancel your appointment. Cancellations will incur a fee of $60 if less than 24 hours notice is given.
TERMINATION POLICY
To promote client safety I encourage participants to be comfortable, undistracted and focussed. I may terminate a session if a client is not in an optimum environment for the duration of the session (including but not limited to) operating machinery, doing noisy housework, driving a vehicle or being in a public place. If the session is cancelled for some reason you will need to re-book at another appointment time.
